Granola bars recipe

Hello <3

I am finally back with a new article today and it’s my favorite snack!! 🙂 This recipe will make approximately 12 granola bars.Granola bars recipe

  • 2 1/2 cups of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of roughly chopped cashews
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) of unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of raisins
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Once your cashews are chopped, place them and the oats on baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until they are lightly toasted. When they are ready place the oats and nuts in a medium size bowl.
  • While the first preparation is baking, add the honey, brown sugar and butter in a small saucepan. Cook on medium heat until the butter and sugar melt, stirring occasionally. When it is ready, add the vanilla, salt and stir.
  • Add the raisins and stir to combine. Wait approximately 15 minutes to add the chocolate chips in order to allow the preparation to cool down. Then stir again to combine
  • Place the oat mixture in your prepared pan. You can use your hands to press the mixture to the pan. Let it chill for at least 2 hours.
  • Once cooled down, cut into your desired shape!
  • Your granola bars will store for 10 days in the fridge and up to 6 months in your freezer, Enjoy 🙂

See you soon <3
