My go-to breakfast smoothie recipes!

Welcome back to the blog everyone! Today I am sharing with you guys something that I absolutely LOVE eating: Smoothies 🙂

They are my go-to breakfast or even lunch when I am very busy. They are full of good nutrients for your body, easy to put in a cup and just leave the house and so delicious! For years, I was not a huge fan of green smoothies… Honestly putting spinach in it sounded pretty gross to me 🤷🏼‍♀️ But my boyfriend made me try his once and it was not thaaaat bad! (Thanks Nate!)

So I decided to experience a little bit and mix it with fruits, so it was very sweet! Below you will be able to find four of my go-to smoothie recipes that I usually drink in the morning on my way to work 🙂 Let me know in the comments what are your favourite smoothies!

Green detox smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of pineapple
  • 2/3 cup of cucumber
  • Half a medium banana
  • 1 cup of chopped spinach (or 1/2 cup of frozen spinach)
  • Juice of 1 lime (or lemon)
  • 1/4 cup of almond milk

Fat: 2.3g Carbs: 36.6g Protein: 4.8g
Calories: 187

Strawberry and banana smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of almond milk

Fat: 1.8g Carbs: 32.2g Protein: 2.5g
Calories: 156

Kiwi and pineapple green smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cup of chopped spinach (1 cup if frozen)
  • 1 cup of sliced kiwi
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of pineapple
  • 1/4 cup of fresh orange juice

Fat: 15.3g Carbs: 57.5g Protein: 12.2g
Calories: 415

Peanut butter banana smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • 1 large frozen banana
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1/4 cup of almond milk
  • 1/4 cup of greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp of peanut butter
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

Fat: 17.8g Carbs: 32.5g Protein: 8.3g
Calories: 324
