Welcome back to another progress article using the Bikini Body Guides! It has been two months since I have been doing the BBG workouts (You can check my first update here!). I still love it and they are pretty efficient for me. I mean I definitely see the results on my body, which is so nice because you can see that all that sweat and soreness is worth it! I think that my cardio skills are way better than when I started (Thank God 🙂 )! I can actually go through one of the 7-minute workout without taking any break. I will be honest with you, it is still not easy, especially on legs day, and you are definitely super sore the next day… But the feeling you get after completing one of the workout is definitely worth the pain and sweat! And trust me you will sweat a loooooot!
As I said before, I love the format of the workouts, it only takes 28 minutes! So even on a busy day, you are most likely to find half an hour to do it! I never missed any of the resistance workouts so far but I definitely miss some cardio ones (I honestly HATE running haha)
I also have been going to yoga classes and I absolutely love it! If you want to see how I started yoga and the benefits on my body, click here 🙂 Yoga helps me a lot to build muscles especially my arms, but it also helps me to disconnect with my problems for at least an hour. In these past four weeks, I am able to notice a big difference in the way I think about my fitness journey. It is not just about losing weight and be skinny… But more about being happy with myself and learn to actually love myself. Journaling has been a great tool to help me realise how lucky and thankful I am. I used to take it for granted, but now that I am older I realise that what my mom was telling me when I was a teenager was actually right 😉
I think one of the biggest proof that everything is actually working is that, other people around me started noticing!! And this is a huge win for me. I came across this saying on Instagram “It takes 4 weeks for you to notice your body changing, it takes 8 weeks for your friends and family and it takes 12 weeks for the rest of the world”. In my own experience, this saying is totally true, except my mom started noticed way earlier but she pays attention to everything, so that might be the reason why!
Also, I actually started to lose weight (YAY 🎉)!! You will be able to see all the details below but I am very happy with the results of the past 4 weeks! My eating has not been perfect but I am happy with myself, and my clothes are not as tight as they used to be! I don’t have a goal weight but I would like to lose 2 kg!

- Waist: -1 cm
- Hips: -3 cm
- Thighs: -3 cm
- Up arm: Same
- Weight: – 1.5 kg (3.5 lbs)
- % fat: -2%
